PSA Bottle Drive
PSA is hosting a redeemable beverage, Bottles, Cans and Container drive on Saturday March 20th 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at Centennial Park during the Mini Jamboree. All teams, players and parents are encouraged to participate by bringing their bottles and cans to the park. The process will involve one day of objective tests followed by two days of mini game evaluations. Players should make every effort to attend each of the three sessions. PSA Spring league announces Nick Daniels (Concacaf "C", Prov B, NSCAA Advanced National Coaching Diploma, Director of Coaching Certificate, Premier Diploma) as our director. Spring League is for ages U8 thru U15 Boys and Girls Dates: April 27, May 4,11,18,25, June 1,8,15 Place: Sidney Elementary School Times: 5:30-6:30 pm U8 thru U11; 6:30-7:30 pm U11 thru U13; 7:30-8:30 pm U14, U15 Format: Small Sided Game Cost: $50 (includes T shirt, 8 weeks schedule on Tuesdays, 1 hour per group Each week a new skill will be taught, then a 45 minute SSG Registration: contact registrar@peninsulasoccer .ca or mail completed form to our PO Box. BCSA Awards
AWARDS NOMINATIONS On an annual basis the BC Soccer Board of Directors is able to recognize a small few of exceptional volunteers within the membership. These award winners represent the hundreds of volunteers across the province that are the heart of soccer in BC. They are the individuals who administer, coach, officiate, schedule (and everything else in-between) whom without, the children of BC would not be able to participate in our beautiful game. Selection of the award recipients is based on many factors including the individual s commitment, community involvement and willingness to give back to the game. Nominations must be submitted by the district and received by the BC Soccer Office by March 31st. To download a nomination forms please visit www.bcsoccer.net COMMUNITY ; Events ; Awards Nominations / Celebration 2009-2010 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS BC Soccer is proud to award scholarships every year to players and referees proceeding on to post secondary education. The Scholarships are awarded at a special Awards and Scholarship Celebration at the British Columbia Soccer Association s Annual General Meeting held in June each year. Applications must be signed off by your Youth District Chairperson or Adult (Senior) League President. The completed application can either be forwarded to BC Soccer by the Youth District/Adult (Senior) League or the individual who is applying for the scholarship. Applications must be received by the British Columbia Soccer Association Office by March 31st.
